Substance Abuse Treatment

Reach out to us today if you're ready to set your life on a healthier course. Our substance abuse treatment in New York, NY, is available to anyone over the age of 18. Every element of treatment is confidential, voluntary, and designed to help you overcome a substance abuse issue.

When it comes to treatment, we're known for our patient-centered approach. We understand that every individual's circumstances are unique; therefore, we customize our treatment plan to each patient's specific needs.

The Treatment Process

It all starts with a phone call. When you're ready, simply contact us to speak with our intake coordinator. We'll verify your insurance and schedule an appointment for your pre-admission assessment. Please note that this assessment is mandatory for admission into the program.

Next, we confer with our supervising agency, OASAS, to determine if our services constitute the right level of care for you as an individual. After OASAS confirms your admission, we determine your level of therapy, refer you to a substance abuse counselor, and assign you to a therapy group.

The next step is an appointment for your medical/psychiatric assessment. During this assessment, you meet with a psychiatrist who completes a more in-depth evaluation to determine if you have a history of psychiatric disorders.

Medication-Assisted Treatment

If it's determined during your assessment that you require any medications, they will be administered as part of your MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment). For as long as you are enrolled in the program, you will receive the psychiatric treatment you require.

We offer an opiate treatment known medically as Buprenorphine, in addition to other medications such as Vivitrol. Once medication has begun, the average person attends our clinic three times per week for treatment and therapy sessions. All sessions are run by a counselor and may be either individual or with your therapy group. Treatment typically lasts between 3-16 months, depending on the patient's unique circumstances.

Our treatment team has experience interacting with the ACS, parole officials, probation officials, the NAD/ADP, and HRAs.
